#1003. See Ya Later Gladiator

 So, we’re starting this series with my pick for the worst Looney Tune… See Ya Later Gladiator. Now, to say this one is even remotely decent. What are you even saying? Now this one is not even close to decent, or even watchable! This is just… bad. And considering this is the last short with the classic characters before the studio had all those Cool Cat and Merlin slop, this is basically a missed opportunity to do something like a goodbye short, or something that’s even decent. 

 Now the actual plot of this short is well, weird. Daffy Duck is a janitor and is working for a Mexican scientist (i’m sure you know where this goes). Daffy gets annoyed by Speedy’s band and Speedy and Daffy fight. Daffy hatches a surely great plan to put Speedy in the convenient time machine that the Mexican scientist made. Daffy lures Speedy into the time machine, which the scientist had set to 65 .A.D. and tells Speedy to pull the chain. Both Speedy and Daffy go to Roman times, do the usual and go back to the 20th century but accidentally bring Nero, the Roman guy who was chasing them around with them. Daffy is very much glad that he doesn’t have to time travel again, but Speedy with Nero in the band annoy him further.

 Overall, the short is the worst thing to ever be animated. I hope i never have to watch this thing ever again.
